Endowments

The decision to establish a permanent endowment is often made when a church finds itself the beneficiary of some special gift. Other endowments come about because wise leaders envision future needs and decide to do something about them now.

When an endowment is established, the Foundation serves as a trustee to ensure gifts benefit your church or favorite charity. Church and Conference institutions have created endowments with the Foundation for the upkeep of buildings and equipment, lectureships, scholarships, evangelism, missions, and many other causes. One church has a fund to guarantee environmental services, another to provide cemetery maintenance, and still another to provide scholarships. An endowment fund can be established for anything which serves the needs of the Church and our Lord Jesus Christ.
