North Georgia United Methodist - Multiplying Financial Resources for Mission and Ministry

The Georgia United Methodist Foundation supports many vital ministries in the North and South Georgia Conferences including Simpsonwood, Murphy-Harpst, the Housing and Homeless Council and Action Ministries.

“The Foundation has been a blessing to Action Ministries in many ways. They manage our investment and endowment accounts. They provide planned giving consultations for our donors,” said Nancy Hrusckha, director of development at Action Ministries. “And the Foundation provides much-needed financial support, which enables us to bring help and hope to poor and homeless families in Georgia.

“Because of the Foundation’s generosity, we are able to furnish homeless families and their children with housing and case management support, provide Methodist scholarships to women recovering from addiction, support capital projects for the repair of facilities and transitional homes, and provide thousands of pounds of food and meals to hungry families, Hruschka said.

Bob Fletcher, Foundation president, adds, “The Foundation is honored to partner with Action Ministries in helping to meet the needs of those people God has called us to serve.”
